Serological surveillance revealed foot‐and‐mouth disease virus (FMDV) exposure for the first time in sheep and goats across the studied districts of Bangladesh, highlighting their critical role in FMD epidemiology. These findings emphasize the importance of including sheep and goats in national FMD surveillance and control programmes.

By employing tandem affinity purification method, we identified pyruvate carboxylase (PC) as a cellular partner for NS5A protein.
