This graphical abstract depicts the dynamic progression from acute lung inflammation to fibrotic repair following RSV infection. Multiomics analysis uncovers a central regulatory network coordinating key pathways including coagulation, extracellular matrix deposition, integrin signaling, and cytoskeletal reorganization.

Abstract Endoplasmic reticulum stress (ERS) occurs when the protein‐folding capacity of the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) is overwhelmed, triggering the unfolded protein response (UPR) to restore homeostasis. However, severe or persistent ERS can shift the UPR toward pro‐inflammatory, apoptotic, and fibrotic signaling, thereby exacerbating tissue injury ...

Serological surveillance revealed foot‐and‐mouth disease virus (FMDV) exposure for the first time in sheep and goats across the studied districts of Bangladesh, highlighting their critical role in FMD epidemiology. These findings emphasize the importance of including sheep and goats in national FMD surveillance and control programmes.

Functional studies on the rotavirus non-structural proteins NSP5 and NSP6 [PDF]
The rotavirus replication cycle has not been fully characterised, one vital stage of virus replication involves large cytoplasmic occlusion bodies termed viroplasms.

Expression of the murine norovirus (MNV) ORF1 polyprotein is sufficient to induce apoptosis in a virus-free cell model [PDF]
Investigations into human norovirus infection, replication and pathogenesis, as well as the development of potential antiviral agents, have been restricted by the lack of a cell culture system for human norovirus.

Hepatitis C virus (HCV) is highly dependent on cellular factors for its own propagation. By employing tandem affinity purification method, we identified pyruvate carboxylase (PC) as a cellular partner for NS5A protein. NS5A interacted with PC through the N-terminal region of NS5A and the biotin carboxylase domain of PC.

Subcellular location and protein interactions of the infectious bronchitis virus gene 3 and 5 accessory proteins [PDF]
The avian coronavirus infectious bronchitis virus (IBV) expresses four nonstructural, non-gene 1 proteins (3a, 3b, 5a and 5b) which have been shown to be dispensable for virus replication in cell culture.
