The physical and chemical structure of Sagittarius B2, I. Three-dimensional thermal dust and free-free continuum modeling on 100 au to 45 pc scales [PDF]
We model the dust and free-free continuum emission in the high-mass star-forming region Sagittarius B2 in order to reconstruct the three-dimensional density and dust temperature distribution, as a crucial input to follow-up studies of the gas velocity field and molecular abundances. We employ the three-dimensional radiative transfer program RADMC-3D to

Breaking barriers: Smart vaccine platforms for cancer immunomodulation
Abstract Despite significant advancements in cancer treatment, current therapies often fail to completely eradicate malignant cells. This shortfall underscores the urgent need to explore alternative approaches such as cancer vaccines. Leveraging the immune system's natural ability to target and kill cancer cells holds great therapeutic potential ...

This study aimed to investigate the effect of dietary supplementation of a commercial acidifier on egg production and histology of small intestine in laying Japanese quail. Our results indicate that supplementation of 1 and 2.6 g acidifier per kg of diet was associated with beneficial effects on egg production and quality, GIT pH and histology of small

Submillimeter continuum observations of Sagittarius B2 at subarcsecond spatial resolution [PDF]
We report the first high spatial resolution submillimeter continuum observations of the Sagittarius B2 cloud complex using the Submillimeter Array (SMA). With the subarcsecond resolution provided by the SMA, the two massive star-forming clumps Sgr B2(N) and Sgr B2(M) are resolved into multiple compact sources.

In the nascent processes of the beginnings and evolution of life, nucleobases and especially purines, ribonucleos(t)ides and primitive RNAs have been continuously modified. A RNA‐peptide world and key metabolic pathways probably have emerged from the corresponding chemical modifications resulting from adenine deamination, purine alkylation and ...

ABSTRACT Background and Objectives Spectroscopy of wheat kernels and flour has been used as a rapid tool to assess wheat quality, but predictions still lack in accuracy for most quality parameters except for protein content. To enable an improved prediction of further quality characteristics, new approaches are needed.
