Associations between diet quality and adult acne: A cross sectional study in the UK Biobank
Journal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, EarlyView.Mediterranean‐style diet adherence was associated with lower odds of adult acne, particularly in women. In men, a low‐carbohydrate, high‐meat dietary pattern showed higher odds. Cooked vegetables and yoghurt were inversely associated, whereas pork, skimmed milk and milk‐based desserts showed positive associations.
