Identifikation von Zonula Occludens 2 (ZO-2) als neuen LASP-1 Interaktionspartner und Aufklärung der LASP-1/ZO-2 Kern-Zytosol Translokation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
LASP-1 (LIM and SH3 protein) is ubiquitously expressed at basal levels, but was found to be pathophysiologically overexpressed in several cancer entities. LASP-1 exhibits one LIM domain, two actin binding domains and one SH3 domain. On the one hand, LASP-1 is predominantly localized at focal contacts, lamellopodia and membrane ruffles, on the other ...

Non‐Line‐of‐Sight Passive Ammonia Sensor Loaded With MXene/In2O3 Composites for Agricultural Products Quality Deterioration Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents a flexible, battery‐free passive RFID sensing platform for NLoS monitoring of quality deterioration in fresh agricultural products. It utilizes a structurally decoupled spiral antenna‐LC electrode architecture to suppress electromagnetic interference caused by packaging.

ZO-2 enriched tight junction-like structures at sites of platelet-platelet contact

open access: yes, 2022
INTRODUCTION Platelets express junction proteins that are known to regulate cell-cell adhesion, barrier formation and communication in tissue forming cells. Previous research has shown that the gap junction proteins expressed by platelets regulate platelet activation in an αIIbβ3-dependent manner.1 Also, platelet activation processes are negatively ...

Topological Properties of International Commodity Market: How Uncertainty Affects the Linkages?

open access: yesAgribusiness, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The study aims to explore the network topology of the international commodity market by examining the interconnections among 21 commodity futures across various categories, including energy, precious and industrial metals, and agriculture. We analyze the market structure of these commodity futures under both low and high uncertainty conditions

Increased ZO-2 levels promote cell migration.

open access: yes, 2016
Ablation of ZO-2 expression reduces wound healing ability in HeLa cells, to a similar degree as ablation of E6 expression. (A). Confluent HeLa cells were scratched with a plastic pipette tip 48h after being transfected with si-RNA to luciferase, HPV 18 ...

Dielectric Elastomer Actuators as Safe and Effective Tools for Mechanostimulation of Human Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Replicating physiological forces is crucial for realistic cell models. Dielectric elastomer actuators (DEAs) offer a soft alternative, though their high voltages raised toxicity concerns. We demonstrate that DEA stimulation causes no cell damage, cell death or cell‐cycle disruption, while activating mechanosensitive responses.
