Silver(I)-Catalyzed Tandem Reaction of Enynones and 4‑Alkenyl Isoxazoles: Synthesis of 2‑(Furan-2-yl)-1,2-dihydropyridines

Silver­(I)-catalyzed tandem reaction of enynones with 4-alkenyl isoxazoles provides access to 2-(furan-2-yl)-1,2-dihydropyridines. No competitive cyclopropanation of alkenes and O–H insertion via (2-furyl)­carbene complexes were observed.

Parasympathetic dysfunction assessed by deep‐breathing CVR‐R is associated with early discontinuation of oral semaglutide in type 2 diabetes: A multicenter retrospective study

Lower CVR‐R during deep breathing (CVR‐R_DB), a marker of parasympathetic function, was associated with early discontinuation of oral semaglutide due to nausea and/or vomiting in patients with type 2 diabetes. CVR‐R_DB may support risk stratification at treatment initiation.

Abstract Experimental approaches that acquire maternal haemodynamics together with direct cardiac signals from more than one fetus remain limited. We developed a standardized in vivo method for simultaneous acquisition of maternal ECG, maternal arterial blood pressure and ECGs from two fetuses in anaesthetized late‐gestation Sprague–Dawley rats.
