Designing for Degradation: Transient Devices Enabled by (Nano)Cellulose
Recent progress in transient devices enabled by (nano)cellulosic materials is reviewed. Transiency mechanisms, advantages of nanocelluloses, and a suite of applications are discussed. A circular thinking approach coupled with life cycle assessment is applied to critically revisit the potential, advantages, and challenges of nanocellulose‐enabled ...

Prediction of Red Wine Quality Using One-dimensional Convolutional Neural Networks [PDF]
As an alcoholic beverage, wine has remained prevalent for thousands of years, and the quality assessment of wines has been significant in wine production and trade. Scholars have proposed various deep learning and machine learning algorithms for wine quality prediction, such as Support vector machine (SVM), Random Forest (RF), K-nearest neighbors (KNN),

A Microfluidic Multiplex Sorter for Strain Development
A new multiplex method for high‐throughput screening of yeast strains based on glucoamylase production is presented. Droplets containing single mutant yeast cells are incubated for enzyme production. A sorting platform divides mutants by their high‐ and mid‐activity levels.
