To investigate the role of ALKBH3 in acute myeloid leukemia (AML), we constructed an animal model of xenotransplantation of AML. Our study demonstrated that ALKBH3-mediated m1A demethylation inhibits ferroptosis in KG-1 cells by increasing ATF4 ...

Mediation Role of Gut Microbiota in the Causal Relationship Between m6A Regulatory Genes and Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatotic Liver Disease: A Mendelian Randomization Study [PDF]
Background: Metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) is a globally prevalent condition with a complex pathogenesis. While both m6A RNA methylation regulators and gut microbiota have been independently implicated in MASLD, their ...

Deficiency of N1-Adenine Methyltransferase Aggravates RNA and Protein Aggregation [PDF]
RNA modifications regulate diverse aspects of transcripts’ function and stability. Among these, N1-methyladenine (m1A) is a reversible mark primarily installed by the TRMT6/TRMT61A methyltransferase on tRNA, though it is also found on other RNA types ...

Th17 cells and interleukin-17A (IL-17A) drive the pathogenesis of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and lupus nephritis (LN). Although myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs) promote the differentiation of Th17 cells, the epigenetic mechanisms remain ...

Genetic variants of m1A modification genes and the risk of neuroblastoma: novel insights from a Chinese case-control study [PDF]
Background The N1-adenosine methylation (m1A) modification plays a significant role in various cancers. However, the functions of m1A modification genes and their variants in neuroblastoma remain to be elucidated.

AbstractLong noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) are confirmed as the key regulators of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) occurrence and progression, but the role of AlkB homologue 3 antisense RNA 1 (ALKBH3‐AS1) in HCC is unclear. We revealed the overexpression of ALKBH3‐AS1 in HCC tissues. The upregulated levels of ALKBH3‐AS1 were observed in HCC cells.
