Deciphering the molecular pathway of an asiaticosiderich fraction of Centella asiatica as an anti-melanogenesis agent [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Herbmed Pharmacology
Introduction: Melanin is a defense against UV radiation; however, it leads to significant cosmetic issues mainly melasma and hyperpigmentation. This study evaluated the potential effect of ethyl acetate (EtOAc) fraction of Centella asiatica extract in vitro inhibition activity against tyrosinase (TYR). Bioinformatics and in silico experiments were also

Glutathione Trisulphide Improves Skin Brightness with Anti-Melanogenesis Effects and Maintains Intracellular Persulphide Levels

open access: yesCosmetics
Melanin, the principal component of skin pigmentation, is produced through tyrosinase activity. Recently, supersulphides have been identified in human cells and found to play a role in maintaining cellular activities.

Effect of Calendula arvensis extract on anti-melanogenesis and antimicrobial activity

open access: yesJournal of Applied Biological Chemistry, 2019
