Proinflammatory Epstein-Barr Virus Antibody Functions Track with Disease Activity in Multiple Sclerosis. [PDF]
Objective Epstein–Barr virus (EBV) has been implicated in the pathogenesis of multiple sclerosis (MS). Elevated immunoglobulin G (IgG) titers against EBV nuclear antigen 1 (EBNA1) represent the most consistent serological marker of MS risk, with levels remaining persistently elevated following disease onset.

Efficacy of high-frequency low-dose rituximab and acalabrutinib in chronic lymphocytic leukemia. [PDF]
Abstract Anti‐CD20 monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) are effective but not curative treatment for chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). To study rituximab efficacy, we examined serial blood samples from CLL patients receiving initial monotherapy with high‐frequency low‐dose (HFLD) rituximab for 1 week followed by the addition of acalabrutinib.

Abstract It remains unclear whether ADCP-related genes are linked to the prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). We obtained RNA-seq data and relevant clinical information on HCC from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) and the International Cancer Genome Consortium (ICGC) databases.

Cancer cell-selective ectopic expression of CD20 as an antigen enables rituximab repurposing for solid tumour immunotherapy. [PDF]
A recombinant AAV delivered tumour gene therapy. NF‐κB drives tumour‐selective antigen (e.g., CD20) expression. Ectopic CD20 enables rituximab repurposing to solid tumours. ADCC, ADCP, and CDC contribute to the antitumour activity. Abstract Background Despite the clinical success of cancer immunotherapies, their efficacy is often compromised by antigen‐

Counteracting Influenza Virus Evolution Through the Full Spectrum of Broadly Protective Antibodies. [PDF]
ABSTRACT Despite the presence of licensed vaccines and therapeutics, influenza viruses remain a major public health concern, as they cause seasonal respiratory infections and pose a pandemic threat through the emergence of zoonotic strains. Although neutralizing antibodies elicited by seasonal vaccination constitute a primary defense against infection,

Antibody-dependent cellular phagocytosis (ADCP) by macrophages, an important effector function of tumor targeting antibodies, is hampered by ‘Don´t Eat Me!’ signals such as CD47 expressed by cancer cells.

Abstract Introduction Affimed has developed high affinity tetravalent bispecific immune cell engagers for redirected optimized cell killing (ROCK platform). Using anti-CD16A and anti-tumor target-specific antibody domains, the engagers activate NK cells to efficiently kill target cells.

Drug Resistance in Multiple Myeloma: Tumor-Intrinsic Mechanisms and the Bone Marrow Microenvironment. [PDF]
ABSTRACT Multiple myeloma (MM) is a malignant plasma cell disorder, and despite substantial improvements in prognosis achieved through chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and autologous stem cell transplantation, most patients ultimately develop relapsed or refractory disease. Drug resistance (DR) is increasingly recognized as a dynamically evolving ecosystem
