Regulatory B cells in the central nervous system: From immune regulation to neuroprotection

open access: yesNeuroprotection, Volume 4, Issue 1, Page 4-13, March 2026.
Neuroinflammatory mechanisms and the therapeutic potential of regulatory B cells (Bregs). Following brain Injury (left panel) blood–brain barrier disruption facilitates the infiltration of peripheral leukocytes, including effector B cells (Beff) and effector T cells (Teff). This process triggers the activation of macrophages, astrocytes, and microglia,

Idiopathic Multicentric Castleman's Disease Diagnosed by Pulmonary Histopathology: A Case Report

open access: yesRespirology Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 3, March 2026.
Based on the diagnostic criteria, lymph node biopsy is necessary to diagnose idiopathic multicentric Castleman's disease (iMCD). We report a case of iMCD diagnosed using lung and lymph node histopathological findings in a 41‐year‐old woman who presented with inflammatory symptoms and pulmonary lesions.

Histopathological Heterogeneity in Pulmonary Hyalinizing Granulomas: A Case Report

open access: yesRespirology Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 3, March 2026.
We report a case of pulmonary hyalinizing granuloma showing different histopathological features in two surgically resected lesions. ABSTRACT Pulmonary hyalinizing granuloma (PHG) is a rare benign lung disease that typically shows slow progression, although some lesions remain stable.

Remodeling the Inflammatory Microenvironment: Nanomaterial‐Based Targeted Strategies for Systemic Lupus Erythematosus and Lupus Nephritis

open access: yesSmall Science, Volume 6, Issue 3, March 2026.
Current treatments for severe lupus nephritis are limited by side effects due to poor drug targeting. This review explores how smart nanomaterials—like liposomes and biomimetic carriers—can precisely deliver drugs to overactive immune cells and the kidneys. These nanotherapeutics enhance efficacy, reduce toxicity, and enable combination strategies. The
