There are clones of myeloid leukemic cells that can be induced to differentiate in vitro and in vivo by normal macrophage and granulocyte differentiation-inducing protein MGI-2 (= DF). The differentiation of these myeloid leukemic cells in vivo is regulated by a cell mediated immune response which requires T lymphocytes.

Exogenous and endogenous antigens are differentially presented by mast cells to CD4+ T lymphocytes
European Journal of Immunology, 1996AbstractIn the present work, we explored the cytokine‐dependent regulation of bone marrow‐derived mast cell (BMMC) antigen‐presenting cell (APC) function, and co‐stimulation requirements, and analyzed the nature of antigens presented to T cells. We observed an up‐regulation of the APC function of mast cells induced by granulocyte/macrophage‐colony ...

The 14 mAbs representing workshop cluster 1 recognise a 215/300 kDa antigen expressed on a subpopulation of lymphocytes which express low levels of CD5 but are negative for other B and T cell markers defined by workshop antibodies. Separate studies with cDNA probes for bovine CD3 and T cell receptor indicate that these lymphocytes are gamma/delta T ...

The results presented in this paper demonstrate that a mouse IgM monoclonal antibody (T-80) recognizes an antigen on cells of the T-lymphocyte lineage of sheep. However, this antibody does not identify all T cells, as 10-20% of thymocytes and some peripheral-blood T cells are negative. T-80- thymocytes reside in the medulla.
