DIFFERENTIAL EXPRESSION OF THE ASGM1 ANTIGEN ON ANTI‐REOVIRUS AND ALLOREACTIVE CYTOTOXIC T LYMPHOCYTES (CTL)

International Journal of Immunogenetics, 1988
SUMMARYAnti‐reovirus cytotoxic effectors were found to be: (i) H‐2 restricted; (ii) virus specific; (iii) non‐lytic (in 4 h) for natural killer (NK)‐sensitive YAC‐1 cells; and (iv) positive for the Thy‐1 and Lyt‐2 lymphocyte markers. Thus, anti‐reovirus cytotoxic effectors have the functional and phenotype characteristics of cytotoxic T lymphocyte (CTL)

Expression of the Ag-F differentiation antigen on T-lymphocyte blasts and cytotoxic cells.

Transplantation proceedings, 1980
In conclusion, we have demonstrated that Ag-F antigen is not present on cytotoxic splenocytes generated in vivo. Furthermore, we have preliminary evidence that mitogen- and MLR-activated T cells are both Ag-F negative and positive; however, proliferation of some Ag-F-positive precursors may be inhibited in whole lymph node populations.

Individual antigens of cattle. Differentiation antigens expressed predominantly on CD4- CD8- T lymphocytes (WC1, WC2).

Veterinary immunology and immunopathology, 1991
The 14 mAbs representing workshop cluster 1 recognise a 215/300 kDa antigen expressed on a subpopulation of lymphocytes which express low levels of CD5 but are negative for other B and T cell markers defined by workshop antibodies. Separate studies with cDNA probes for bovine CD3 and T cell receptor indicate that these lymphocytes are gamma/delta T ...
