The role of circular RNAs in gastric Cancer: Focusing on autophagy, EMT, and their crosstalk
Globally, gastric cancer (GC) is one of the leading causes of cancer-related mortality. GC is a major threat and concern in human societies because of the high degree of metastasis and the lack of primary diagnostic biomarkers.

Identification and validation of P4HB as a novel autophagy-related biomarker in diabetic nephropathy
Diabetic nephropathy (DN), a frequent microvascular complication of diabetes, has been recognized as a primary cause of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and end-stage renal disease (ESRD). Previous studies found that autophagy of renal tubular epithelial cells plays an important role in DN pathogenesis.

Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

Prognostic Impact of Autophagy and Immunity Related Biomarker for Uveal Melanoma [PDF]
Abstract Background: Autophagy and immunity related genes serve crucial roles in carcinogenesis, but little is known about the prognostic impact for uveal melanoma (UM).Methods: Autophagy related and immunity related genes (AIRGs) expression data of 80 UM patients were obtained from the cancer genome atlas project (TCGA) database.

Drug resistance limits treatment success in a subset of lung cancers driven by ROS1 gene alterations. Using patient‐derived cells and computer simulations, we studied three key mutations and how they affect five targeted drugs. The mutations reduced drug effectiveness in different ways by altering protein structure and behavior.

The emerging roles of circular RNA-mediated autophagy in tumorigenesis and cancer progression
Circular RNA (circRNA) is characterized by a specific covalently closed ring structure. The back-splicing of precursor mRNA is the main way of circRNA generation, and various cis/trans-acting elements are involved in regulating the process.
