Supramolecular Chemistry in Metal–Organic Framework Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This review highlights synergies between reticular chemistry and supramolecular chemistry. The role of supramolecular interactions in determining framework…guest interactions and attempts to understand dynamic behavior in metal–organic frameworks (MOFs), particularly emphasizing the development of crystal sponges, studying reactions in frameworks and ...

New possibilities for the synthesis of reactive functional aminopolysilanes using azide pathway [PDF]

open access: yesMemoirs of the Scientific Sections of the Romanian Academy, 2014
Two new reaction frameworks with high stereospecificity and high yields are described. Azidopolysilanes offers multiple options for obtaining aminopolysilanes, either by reducing the azido group using the Staudinger technique or by Huisgen 1,3 ...

Mutagenicity of Alkyl Azides.

open access: yesBiological and Pharmaceutical Bulletin, 1995
Alkyl azides showed mutagenicity for S. typhimurium TA100 strain with S9 mix. However, no significant activity was observed for TA98 either with or without S9 mix or for TA100 without S9 mix. On the other hand, 3-azido-1,2-propanediol showed the enantioselective activity regardless of S9 mix.

Tuning the magnetic ground state of a novel tetranuclear Nickel(II) molecular complex by high magnetic fields [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Electron spin resonance and magnetization data in magnetic fields up to 55 T of a novel multicenter paramagnetic molecular complex [L_2Ni_4(N_3)(O_2C Ada)_4](Cl O_4) are reported. In this compound, four Ni centers each having a spin S = 1 are coupled in a single molecule via bridging ligands (including a \mu_4-azide) which provide paths for magnetic ...

Cyclooctyne-based reagents for uncatalyzed click chemistry: A computational survey [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
With the goal of identifying alkyne-like reagents for use in click chemistry, but without Cu catalysts, we used B3LYP density function theory (DFT) to investigate the trends in activation barriers for the 1,3-dipolar cycloadditions of azides with various

Cardiac Organoid Model Inspired Micro‐Robot Smart Patch to Treat Myocardial Infarction

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The heart organoid model exhibits the acidic microenvironment characteristic of myocardial infarction, which emerges as a pivotal force propelling the movement of micro‐robots. These micro‐robots, administered through microneedles, can penetrate deep into the tissue, effectively delivering therapeutic payloads to facilitate heart repair.

Novel Rubidium Poly-Nitrogen Materials at High Pressure [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2017
First-principles crystal structure search is performed to predict novel rubidium poly-nitrogen materials at high pressure by varying the stoichiometry, i. e. relative quantities of the constituent rubidium and nitrogen atoms. Three compounds of high nitrogen content, RbN_{5}, RbN_{2}, and Rb_{4}N_{6}, are discovered. Rubidium pentazolate (RbN5) becomes

Micro‐ and Nano‐Bots for Infection Control

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This review presents a strategic vision for integrating micro‐ and nanobots in the pipeline for infection diagnosis, prevention, and treatment. To develop these robots as a practical solution for infection management, their design principles are clarified based on their propulsion mechanisms and then categorized infection management domains based on ...

Temperature‐ and pH‐Responsive Polymeric Photocatalysts for Enhanced Control and Recovery

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 134, Issue 51, December 19, 2022., 2022
Stimuli‐responsive photocatalytic materials have emerged that are not only able to efficiently catalyze reactions but can use external stimuli to modulate their physical properties. This technique has been used to control the reactivity of a photocatalytic material turning it on/off. Moreover, photocatalytic materials have been synthesized which can be
