Torreya grandis Seed Polyphenols Protect RAW264.7 Macrophages by Inhibiting Oxidative Stress and Inflammation

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 13, Issue 8, August 2025.
Torreya grandis seed polyphenols (TGSP), primarily containing gallic acid and epicatechin, exhibit selective free radical scavenging activity. TGSP pretreatment effectively inhibits LPS‐induced inflammatory responses by reducing TNF‐α, NO, and IL‐6 production. TGSP also alleviates H2O2‐induced oxidative stress by enhancing antioxidant enzyme activities

Advances in Nano‐Immunomodulatory Systems for the Treatment of Acute Kidney Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 17, May 8, 2025.
Based on the biodegradability and the immunological reactiveness, IMNs can be broadly classified into four categories. The first category includes types of biologically derived materials that cause immunomodulatory action and biodegradability like nanoparticles of cell membranes, extracellular vesicles, and exosomes.

In-silico approaches to unravel the efficacy of naturally occurring C–C and C–O–C type biflavonoids towards the inhibition of MDM2–p53 interactions

open access: yesDiscover Chemistry
The p53 protein is essential for controlling the cell cycle and promoting apoptosis, which are critical processes in preventing tumor development. MDM2 acts as a negative regulator of p53 by facilitating its degradation, thereby diminishing its ability ...
