Myogenic Fusogen‐Engineered Lipid Nanoparticles Enhance mRNA Delivery in Skeletal Muscle
This study reports a biomimetic strategy of engineering full‐length Myomaker, a muscle‐specific fusogen, into lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) to harness the native myoblast fusion capability for skeletal muscle mRNA delivery. The resulting Mymk‐LNPs enhance transfection in differentiating myocytes and enable Cre‐mediated reporter activation in injured ...

The End-lock Rule for Exact Extraction of Odd Roots
A familiar cube-root puzzle recovers a two-digit root from the leading three-digit block and the final digit of a perfect cube. We place that observation in a general framework.

Laminated Dough, the Lock in 3 Process, Stage #1 Pastry Making
Locking a pre-prepared block of butter between two or more sheets of dough is known as the Lock-in stage in laminated pastry making. James Griffin, Masterbaker explains the process known as a Lock-in 3, the first stage of laminated pastry production ...

Targeting and Reversing HIV Latency Using Novel 'Block and Lock' Strategies: A Comprehensive Review
The establishment of latent HIV reservoirs remains the principal barrier to achieving a cure for HIV infection. While antiretroviral therapy (ART) effectively suppresses viral replication, it cannot eliminate integrated proviral DNA that persists in a transcriptionally silent state within long-lived memory CD4+ T cells.

Electrically Induced Phase Transition and Synaptic Functionality in MoTe2/Graphene Memristors
An electrically induced reversible 2H ↔ 1T′ phase transition is demonstrated in a vertical Au/Ti/MoTe2/graphene memristor with a laterally contacted graphene electrode. Resistive switching proceeds through a compositionally invariant amorphous/2H ↔ amorphous/1T′ transformation, in which a self‐formed amorphous MoTe2 interfacial region is proposed to ...

Inspired by metal‐free carbonic anhydrases (CAs) that achieve efficient catalysis without metal cofactors, we herein report a sequence‐defined supramolecular peptoid platform that mimics metal‐free CAs and exhibits hydrolytic activity via a supramolecular assembly‐mediated proton‐transfer mechanism.

This work presents a closed‐loop optimization workflow integrating CatBot, an automated synthesis and testing system, to discover NiMo hydrogen‐evolution catalysts. CatBot synthesised and evaluated 228 unique samples, identifying the best performing catalysts for transfer to nickel‐foam electrodes. The best candidate is highly active, reaching 1 Acm−2${
