ABSTRACT In the last decades, critical advancements in research technology and knowledge on disease mechanisms steered therapeutic approaches for chronic inflammatory diseases towards unprecedented target specificity. For allergic and chronic lung diseases, biologic drugs pioneered this goal, acquiring on the way—through the clinical use of monoclonal ...

Integrated Clinical Trial and Molecular Profiling Reveals Immune Drivers of Chronic Hand Eczema
This study performed an unbiased molecular profiling of CHE patients across diverse etiologies to identify shared pathogenic drivers and evaluate the impact of IL‐4Rα blockade via dupilumab over 16 weeks. CHE shows a mixed immune signature involving type 1, 2, and 3 pathways with features of atopic dermatitis and psoriasis.

HBV reactivation incidence varied across immunosuppressive and chemotherapeutic agents. Clinically meaningful HBV reactivation was also observed in patients receiving corticosteroids and conventional immunosuppressive therapies. ABSTRACT Background Data on the incidence of hepatitis B virus reactivation (HBVr) remain limited. In Japan, patients who are

Nsp1 facilitates SARS-CoV-2 replication through calcineurin-NFAT signaling
SARS-CoV-2, the causative agent of COVID-19, has been intensely studied in search of effective antiviral treatments. The immunosuppressant cyclosporine A (CsA) has been suggested to be a pan-coronavirus inhibitor, yet its underlying mechanism remained ...

Summary While plasma‐derived proteins have emerged as potential biomarkers for prognosis after haematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT), there are insufficient data assessing if established proteins interleukin 1 receptor‐like 1 (IL1RL1), chemokine ligand 9 (CXCL9) and regenerating islet‐derived 3‐α (REG3α) retain their utility in the mismatched

Divergent remodeling of TRPC channels occurs in Alzheimer's disease, with TRPC3 increased in neurons and reactive astrocytes and TRPC6 reduced in pyramidal neurons. These alterations may contribute to calcium dysregulation, neuroinflammation, and synaptic dysfunction during AD progression.
