Mitochondrial targeting of cyclosporin A enables selective inhibition of cyclophilin-D and enhanced cytoprotection after glucose and oxygen deprivation [PDF]
CsA (cyclosporin A) is a hydrophobic undecapeptide that inhibits CyPs (cyclophilins), a family of PPIases (peptidylprolyl cis–trans isomerases). In some experimental models, CsA offers partial protection against lethal cell injury brought about by ...

Electronic Chip‐Mimetic Medical Implants for Controllable Sonothermal Treatments
Inspired by the thermal effect of working electronic chips, which consist of various heterostructures, an sonothermal‐responsive platform has been developed through constructing metal‐semiconductor interface on implants. Biofilm infection and deep vein thrombosis can be successfully treated by controllable ultrasound treatments.

New concepts to individualize calcineurin inhibitor therapy in renal allograft recipients
A maximum of efficacy with a minimum of toxicity is the ultimate goal of immuno-suppressive therapy. Calcineurin inhibitors are widely used as immunosuppressive drugs, and there is still a discussion about the optimal blood levels of cyclosporine A (CsA)

Calcineurin inhibitorok hatása humán podocyták életképességére
A podocyták rendkívül fontos szerepet töltenek be a filtrációs barrier fenntartásában és a fehérjék vizeletből való visszatartásában, mely feladatukat különleges morfológiájuk és sejtkapcsoló struktúráik segítségével látják el.

This study integrates rice immune perception, signal transduction, and resistance output into a multi‐omics framework. By combining high‐throughput sequencing, phenomics, and AI‐assisted design with marker‐assisted selection, gene editing, and rapid domestication, we aim to accelerate the precise breeding of disease‐resistant rice varieties by ...

Generation of calcineurin inhibitor resistant EBV-CTLs for the treatment of post transplant lymphoma [PDF]
Epstein Barr Virus driven post transplant lymphoproliferative disease (PTLD) is a serious complication following either stem cell or solid organ transplantation (SOT), occurring as a result of suppressed cellular immunity.
