ABSTRACT HSPA5 (also known as GRP78/BiP) is a master regulator of the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress response and a key node in the proteostasis network. In neuroendocrine prostate cancer (NEPC), an aggressive, therapy‐refractory lineage that emerges under pressure from androgen receptor (AR) directed therapies, GRP78 is upregulated and co‐opted to ...

Citrullination of HP1γ chromodomain affects association with chromatin
Background Stem cell differentiation involves major chromatin reorganisation, heterochromatin formation and genomic relocalisation of structural proteins, including heterochromatin protein 1 gamma (HP1γ). As the principal reader of the repressive histone

[Antibodies to cyclic citrullinized peptide in rheumatoid arthritis].
To estimate a diagnostic value of antibodies to cyclic citrullinized peptide (CCP) in rheumatoid arthritis (RA).The study was made of 85 RA patients. Of them, 48 patients had early RA, i.e. of 8 month and less duration. The control group consisted of 35 patients with non-differentiated arthritis (NDA) and 8 healthy donors.

Graphical abstract summarizing the multifactorial pathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and the therapeutic potential of mesenchymal stromal cell (MSC) therapy. MSCs provide promising benefits through their immunomodulatory properties, low immunogenicity, ability to promote tissue repair, and multi‐lineage differentiation, presenting a potential ...

This study established clinical cohorts of respiratory viral infections and identified sphinganine‐phosphate (SA) as a metabolite significantly upregulated post‐infection through metabolomic analysis. In vitro and in vivo experiments demonstrated that SA promotes the generation of effector CD8+ T cells via the SOCS1/JAK1/STAT1 pathway, which ...

Long‐term remission of type B insulin resistance syndrome with immunotherapy: A case report
ABSTRACT We report long‐term remission in a patient with type B insulin resistance achieved with a combination of immunotherapies. A 55‐year‐old Japanese man presented with nocturnal hypoglycemia and cytopenia. He also had postprandial hyperglycemia due to severe insulin resistance, which was difficult to manage using high‐dose insulin and recombinant ...

Inflammatory and Immunological Basis of Periodontal Diseases
The periodontal lesion emerges as an evolving immunological battlefield, where host–microbiome interactions, dysregulated immune responses, fragile resolution mechanisms, and inflammophilic dysbiosis converge to shift the balance from homeostasis to unrestrained tissue destruction.
