Isomer specificity of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA): 9E,11E-CLA [PDF]
Conjugated linoleic acids (CLA) were identified in 1980's, since then it has been intensively studied due to its various beneficial health effects such as anti-inflammatory, anti-atherogenic, anti-carcinogenic and anti-diabetic/obesity effects. Isomer specificity of a number of CLA isomers, especially predominant isomer 9Z,11E- and 10E,12Z-CLA, is now ...

Properties of the Λ(1405) Measured at CLAS [PDF]
Abstract Using the CLAS detector system in Hall B at Jefferson Lab, we have done a high statistics measurement of the photoproduction of K + Λ ( 1405 ) using a proton target. The reconstructed invariant mass seen in the various Σ π decay modes has been measured, as well as the differential cross section d σ d t .

Early‐stage health technology assessment of a curative gene therapy for multiple sclerosis
Aims Multiple sclerosis (MS) is associated with significant early morbidity, reduced life expectancy and substantial healthcare and societal costs. The primary objective of this study is to assess the early cost‐effectiveness potential of a novel gene therapy, IMMUTOL, for MS compared with current high‐efficacy treatment sequences.

TULP4, a novel E3 ligase gene, participates in neuronal migration as a candidate in schizophrenia
Mutations identified from four SCZ pedigrees resulted in decreased TULP4 expression. Tulp4 knockdown caused delayed neuron migration in embryonic mice, and impaired cognition and prepulse inhibition in adult mice. These phenotypes may be related to TULP4 through its involvement in the formation of a novel E3 ubiquitin ligases.
