Thermo‐Fluorescent Bactericidal Quantum Dots Based Smart Multifunctional Textiles via Molecular Surface Engineering and 3D‐Printed Interlocked Architectures

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
A versatile approach is presented for fabricating smart multifunctional textiles by integrating thermo‐fluorescent carbon dot/polymer nanocomposite coatings with 3D‐printed interlocked architectures. The fabrics exhibit temperature‐responsive fluorescence, durable hydrophobicity, strong antibacterial and antioxidant activity, and enhanced UV protection.

ESTIMASI KANDUNGAN KLOROFIL TANAMAN KOPI ROBUSTA (Coffea canephora var. Robusta) MENGGUNAKAN NORMALIZED DIFFERENCE VEGETATION INDEX (NDVI) DI BANGELAN, WONOSARI, MALANG

open access: yesJTSL (Jurnal Tanah dan Sumberdaya Lahan), 2020
Chlorophyll in leaves affects the reflection of infrared light, where healthy plants can reflect more infrared light than unhealthy plants which is one of the factors increasing production in coffee plants.

Crosstalk Between Ethylene and Abscisic Acid During Changes in Soil Water Content Reveals a New Role for 1-Aminocyclopropane-1- Carboxylate in Coffee Anthesis Regulation

open access: yesFrontiers in Plant Science, 2022
Coffee (Coffea arabica L.) presents an asynchronous flowering regulated by an endogenous and environmental stimulus, and anthesis occurs once plants are rehydrated after a period of water deficit.

Analysis of DREB1D gene sequence in different Coffea genotypes : S03P07 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
In several plant species, the DREB genes play a key role in responses to abiotic stress. Since the development of molecular markers is one of the major goals for accelerating breeding programs, a study was done to evaluate the sequence variability of the

Limitations to photosynthesis in coffee leaves from different canopy positions

open access: yesPlant Physiology and Biochemistry, 2008
Limitations to photosynthesis were explored in leaves from four canopy positions of field-grown, unshaded coffee (Coffea arabica L.), a tropical tree species classified as shade-obligatory. Overall, compared to shade (lower) leaves, sun (upper) leaves had higher net carbon assimilation rate (A) (4.5 against 2.0 micromol m(-2)s(-1) at most) associated ...

Diagrammatic scale for blister spot in leaves of coffee tree [PDF]

open access: yesAfrican Journal of Agricultural Research, 2015
Blister Spot is a disease transmitted through seeds. This characteristic of the disease reveals the studies of severity can offer more replies than the studies of incidence. Due to the inexistence of standardized for visual quantification of the Blister Spot’s severity, the aim of this work was to build up and validate a diagrammatic scale for ...

Effect of extracts from citric biomass, rusted coffee leaves and coffee berry husks on Phoma costarricencis of coffee plants [PDF]

open access: yesFitopatologia Brasileira, 2005
Phoma leaf spot, caused by Phoma costarricensis poses a serious threat to coffee (Coffea arabica) production, especially in the highlands of the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. Extracts of citric biomass, coffee berry husks and coffee leaves severely affected by rust caused by Hemileia vastatrix, were evaluated against P. costarricensis.
