DEVELOPMENT OF E-LEARNING TEACHING MATERIALS ON MATRICES BASED ON COGNITIVE LOAD THEORY
Learning will be effective if it can minimize extraneous cognitive load because students' understanding can be improved and stored in long-term memory.

Trait susceptibility to worry modulates the effects of cognitive load on cognitive control: an ERP study [PDF]
According to the predictions of Attentional Control Theory of Anxiety (ACT; Eysenck, Derakshan, Santos, & Calvo, 2007) worry is a central feature of anxiety that interferes with the ability to inhibit distracting information necessary for successful task

Systemic dysregulation of apolipoproteins in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis serum
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a fatal disease that damages motor neurons. This study found that people with ALS show significant changes in blood fats and the proteins that carry them. Several apolipoproteins were higher, lipid balances were altered, and normal protein–lipid relationships were disrupted.

Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

Association of Corticospinal Tract Asymmetry With Ambulatory Ability After Intracerebral Hemorrhage
ABSTRACT Background Ambulatory ability after intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) is important to patients. We tested whether asymmetry between ipsi‐ and contra‐lesional corticospinal tracts (CSTs) assessed by diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) is associated with post‐ICH ambulation.

Cheetah Experimental Platform Web 1.0: Cleaning Pupillary Data [PDF]
Recently, researchers started using cognitive load in various settings, e.g., educational psychology, cognitive load theory, or human-computer interaction. Cognitive load characterizes a tasks' demand on the limited information processing capacity of the

Cognitive load theory: implications of cognitive load theory on the design of learning [PDF]
Abstract C ognitive load theory (CLT) can provide guidelines to assist in the presentation of information in a manner that encourages learner activities that optimise intellectual performance. It is based on a cognitive architecture that consists of a limited working memory, with partly independent processing units for visual and audio ...
