Multi‐Scale Investigation of Supramolecular Organogels Assembled From Pt(II)‐Salphen Complexes
A family of Pt(II)‐salphen complexes with long alkyl chains is investigated as low‐molecular‐weight organogelators. Multi‐scale characterization of their supramolecular gels reveals how the chain length, Pt‐Pt interactions, and π–π stacking direct self‐assembly and tune gel mechanics.

HPM live μ for a full CLEM workflow
With the development of advanced imaging methods that took place in the last decade, the spatial correlation of microscopic and spectroscopic information-known as multimodal imaging or correlative microscopy (CM)-has become a broadly applied technique to

Investigating the Cytoskeleton of DRGs Using Cryo‐Electron Microscopy and Deep Learning
ABSTRACT We describe a method for determining the ultrastructural organization of axons and varicosities of cultured dorsal root ganglion (DRG) neurons using cryogenic electron microscopy (cryo‐EM). Cryo‐EM reveals the dimensions, proximity, and overall organization of biological specimens in a near‐native state, avoiding artifacts of fixation and ...

Glucose starvation triggers filamentous septin assemblies in an S. pombe septin-2 deletion mutant
Using correlative light and electron microscopy (CLEM), we studied the intracellular organization by of glucose-starved fission yeast cells (Schizosaccharomyces pombe) with regards to the localization of septin proteins throughout the cytoplasm. Thereby,

In this work, a femtosecond (fs) laser processing strategy is demonstrated for rapid and targeted fabrication of 3D sub‐100‐µm microstructures on resin‐embedded cells. The fabricated array of sub‐100‐µm pillars (each loaded with flow‐sorted T‐cell subsets) is arranged in a half‐grid geometry to enable efficient use of the scarce biological sample and ...

Abstract Cryo‐Focused Ion Beam Scanning Electron Microscopy (cryoFIB‐SEM) using samples fixed by high‐pressure freezing uniquely enables high‐resolution cryo‐volume Electron Microscope (cvEM) images of cell ultrastructure to be obtained from whole cells and complex tissues in their near native state. As the freezing process also preserves fluorescence,
