Microglia Mitochondria Support Neuronal Maturation via Metabolic and Transcriptional Reprogramming in Human 3D In Vitro Brain Model

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
xx xx. ABSTRACT Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental condition characterized by disrupted neuronal circuit maturation. Emerging evidence implicates microglial function and mitochondrial regulation as contributors to ASD‐associated biology, yet the mechanisms linking these processes to neuronal development remain poorly defined ...

Flowcytometric evaluation of cell cycle regulators (cyclins and cyclin dependent kinase inhibitors) expressed on bone marrow cells of patients with chronic myelogenous leukemia and multiple myeloma

open access: yesTurkish Journal of Hematology, 2012
OBJECTIVE: Etiopathology of malignancy can be demonstrated by the comparison of the quantified changes in the different phases of the cycle about cyclins and cyclin dependent kinase inhibitors (CDKI) in healthy and malignant proliferated cells.

CDK4/6 Inhibition Induces CD8+ T Cell Antitumor Immunity via MIF‐Induced Functional Orchestration of Tumor‐Associated Macrophages

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
CDK4/6 inhibition promotes CD8+ T cell expansion through tumor‐macrophage crosstalk by activating HIF‐1α and enhancing MIF‐CD44/CD74 signaling. This reprograms TAMs to boost MHC‐I antigen presentation, and CDK4/6 inhibitor‐trained M1 TAM supernatant therapy synergizes with low‐dose PD‐1 blockade to restore antitumor immunity.

Farnesyltransferase Deficiency in Cardiomyocytes Initiates Senescence and Contributes to Cardiac Fibrosis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Lipid overload suppresses SREBF2‐mediated FNTB expression, leading to defective Lamin A maturation and nuclear envelope instability. This nuclear catastrophe triggers a pro‐fibrotic senescence program in cardiomyocytes. Notably, restoring nuclear integrity via AAV9‐based gene therapy effectively attenuates cardiac remodeling, identifying the ...

Patterns of cyclin A and B1 immunostaining in papillary thyroid carcinoma

open access: yesAnnals of Agricultural and Environmental Medicine, 2015
Introduction and objectives. Cyclin A, encoded by CCNA (cyclin A) gene with locus in chromosome 4q27, and cyclin B1, encoded by CCNB1 (cyclin B1) gene with locus in chromosome 5q12, are proteins that play a key role in the passage through the ...

TRMT6‐Mediated m1A Modification of CDK9 mRNA Is a Dual‐Pronged Pathogenic Driver for HBV‐Related Hepatocellular Carcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
TRMT6‐mediated m1A modification in CDK9 mRNA enhances its mRNA stability and translation efficiency, thereby increasing the protein levels of CDK9. Upregulated CDK9 promotes the progression of HCC by elevating the levels of oncogenic factors including p‐STAT3, MCL1, and BCL‐2. On the other hand, CDK9 phosphorylates TARDBP at Ser254 to activate HBV core

Distinct and redundant functions of cyclin E1 and cyclin E2 in development and cancer

open access: yesCell Division, 2010
The highly conserved E-type cyclins are core components of the cell cycle machinery, facilitating the transition into S phase through activation of the cyclin dependent kinases, and assembly of pre-replication complexes on DNA.

KDM4A Erases the H3R17me2a Mark, Facilitating Chromosome Condensation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reveals a reversible histone modification switch governing chromosome condensation during mitosis. PKCα‐activated KDM4A removes H3R17me2a, permitting Suv39h1‐driven H3K9me3 deposition. This epigenetic transition recruits the chromosomal passenger complex and triggers Aurora B‐dependent H3S10 phosphorylation, coordinating chromatin remodeling

E-Ras improves the efficiency of reprogramming by facilitating cell cycle progression through JNK–Sp1 pathway

open access: yesStem Cell Research, 2015
We have previously shown that pluripotent stem cells can be induced from adult somatic cells which were exposed to protein extracts isolated from mouse embryonic stem cells (mESC).
