Fisetin Attenuates Amyloid‐Beta‐Induced Neurotoxicity in Human Neuroblastoma SH‐SY5Y Cells: Integrating In Silico Target Prediction and In Vitro Validation

The in‐silico data showed that fisetin binds stably with the autophagy receptors and synaptic density regulators. Further, in‐vitro data confirmed the restoration of Aβ1‐42 disrupted autophagy by fisetin. Fisetin restored the oxidative stress and ion channels, along with a reduction of AChE activity.

Quinoline and Phthalimide Substituted Silicon Phthalocyanines as Multi‐Target Inhibitors of Cholinesterases and Carbonic Anhydrases

Two novel axially substituted silicon phthalocyanines were synthesized and characterized. Compound 2a exhibited significantly enhanced inhibition of AChE, BChE, hCA I and hCA II, supported by molecular docking and SAR analysis, highlighting its potential as a multifunctional enzyme inhibitor with promising biological activity.
