Alpinetin Protects Against High‐Fat Diet‐Induced Hepatic Injury via Mitigating Oxidative Stress, and Ferroptosis Through Modulating LXRα

Alpinetin protects against high‐fat diet‐ or palmitic acid‐induced nonalcoholic fatty liver disease by restoring LXR‐α expression. Activation of LXR‐α reduces hepatic lipid accumulation through suppression of lipogenic genes while alleviating oxidative stress and ferroptosis, ultimately improving liver function and attenuating hepatic injury.
