Paramagnetic‐rim lesions are a novel diagnostic marker in multiple sclerosis (MS) and are associated with poor prognosis due to their link with chronic inflammation and disease progression. Analyzing 46 postmortem MS cases, researchers found no iron rims in 67 white matter and 85 grey matter spinal cord lesions, despite most being active.

TBI induces NETs formation, as evidenced by the upregulation of PAD4 and MPO. NETs activate the necroptosis pathway via phosphorylation of RIP1‐RIP3‐MLKL, thereby exacerbating secondary brain injury (neuronal death, BBB disruption, and neuroinflammation).

This study suggests that glymphatic dysfunction is associated with white matter injury in Cushing's disease. Mediation analysis indicates that impaired glymphatic function may serve as a pathway linking elevated midnight cortisol to structural damage in the right superior longitudinal fasciculus III.

This study presents an integrative pipeline linking immune cell traits to multiple sclerosis (MS) susceptibility. Genome‐wide association and Mendelian randomization analyses revealed causal roles of immune cells in MS risk. Colocalization and pleiotropy mapping identified candidate genes, further refined through functional annotation, network analysis,

Using fixel‐based analysis in Alzheimer's disease, we found that reduced fiber density value of the left inferior fronto‐occipital fasciculus is associated with both slower gait speed and impairments in executive and visuospatial functions, suggesting this white matter tract as a shared neural substrate for cognitive‐motor decline.
