In vitro protein and starch digestion kinetics of individual chickpea cells: from static to more complex in vitro digestion approaches [PDF]
Attention has been given to more (semi-)dynamic in vitro digestion approaches ascertaining the consequences of dynamic in vivo aspects on in vitro digestion kinetics. As these often come with time and economical constraints, evaluating the consequence of

In vitro lipid digestion models
The models are evaluated in terms of their suitability to assess lipid based drug delivery systems, and their ability to produce In vitro - in vivo correlations (IVIVCs). While the pH-stat lipolysis model is by far the most commonly utilized In vitro digestion model in relation to characterizing Lipid based drug delivery Presently, no single In vitro ...

In vitro gastrointestinal digestion of meat and fish with alcoholic beverages : oxidation and fatty acid ethyl ester formation [PDF]
Oxidative reactions during cooking and gastrointestinal digestion of meat and fish lead to the formation of various lipid-and protein oxidation products, some of which are toxic.

Fermentation Tubes for In Vitro Digestion of Forages
During in vitro digestion of forages by rumen microorganisms in polycarbonate centrifuge tubes, forage particles formed dense mats which were raised above the level of media by entrapped gas. This did not occur with polyethylene centrifuge tubes. In vitro organic matter digestion was higher in polyethylene than in poly-carbonate tubes.

Susceptibility of lysozyme to in-vitro digestion and immunoreactivity of its digests [PDF]
This paper examines lysozyme (LYS) behaviour upon in-vitro digestion, mimicking different conditions in the stomach and intestine, and assessing the effect of natural surfactants, such as phosphatidylcholine (PC) or bile salts (BS), on hydrolysis and residual immunogenicity of the digests.
