Tackling the Reactivity of Propadiene: Palladium Metallaphotoredox Dual Catalyzed Multi-Component Allylation and Dienylation of Styrenes. [PDF]
Angew Chem Int Ed EnglWe presented herein that propadiene can chemodivergently form either an allylic moiety or a dienylic moiety under Pd catalysis. Embedding this reactivity pattern into photocatalysis with DHP as the initial radical source and styrene derivatives as the initial acceptor leads to multi‐component allylation and dienylation.
