Nanocellulose, derived from microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) through sulfuric acid hydrolysis or mechanical grinding to produce CNC or CNF, was tested in a rat ICP model. Particularly, CNF improved gut microbiota composition, reduced secondary bile acid metabolism, and restored bile acid homeostasis through modulation of the gut–liver axis.

Ru–Mn composite nanozymes are engineered to mimic dual‐enzyme cascade catalysis, enabling efficient ROS clearance and neuroinflammation suppression. In collagenase‐ and autologous blood‐induced ICH mouse models, intranasal and intravenous administration reduced hematoma volume, preserved BBB integrity, and improved neurological recovery.

Distinct Interactions of 2′- and 3′-O-(N-Methyl)anthraniloyl-Isomers of ATP and GTP with the Adenylyl Cyclase Toxin of Bacillus anthracis, Edema Factor [PDF]
Anthrax disease is caused by the spore-forming bacterium, Bacillus anthracis. Bacillus anthracis produces a calmodulin-activated adenylyl cyclase (AC) toxin, edema factor (EF). Through excessive cAMP accumulation EF disrupts host defence.

Pneumonectomy is associated with high rates of morbimortality, with postpneumonectomy pulmonary edema being one of the leading causes. An intrinsic inflammatory process following the operation has been considered in its physiopathology.

A Microbial Lipid‐ATP Synthase Axis Fuels NK Cell Antitumor Activity
This study focuses on the mechanism by which gut microbiota‐derived outer membrane vesicles (OMVs) regulate NK cell antitumor activity. B. intestinalis is identified to decrease extra‐intestinal tumor growth via its OMVs enriched in sphingosine (SP).

Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) pathogenesis remains unclear. This study reveals that thymus‐originated IL‐7R‐enriched extracellular vesicles exacerbate colitis by promoting neutrophil extracellular traps via a thymus‐gut axis, uncovering an inter‐organ communication mechanism in inflammatory bowel disease pathogenesis.
