Flaxseed consumption can have favorable effects on muscle strength, reducing frailty and sarcopenia in patients with liver cirrhosis by alleviating inflammation and disease severity. The antioxidant and anti‐inflammatory effects of flaxseed may provide potential benefits as an adjunctive therapy for patients with cirrhosis.
