A dynamic interfacial semi‐interpenetrating polymer network is constructed by sequential assembly of β‐sheet‐rich SF and CS‐RL. The SF framework provides mechanical strength, while dynamically associated CS‐RL enables local rearrangement, allowing droplets to rapidly reconfigure without loss of interfacial integrity.

Fast and accurate defocus modulation for improved tunability of cryo-EM experiments
Current data collection strategies in electron cryo-microscopy (cryo-EM) record multiframe movies with static optical settings. This limits the number of adjustable parameters that can be used to optimize the experiment.

Ionic Gating of Liquid‐Crystal‐Like Pteridine Assemblies Enables Tunable Light Scattering
Tunable optical properties emerge through developmentally regulated ionic gating, which transforms disordered, ultraviolet (UV)‐absorbing organelles into concentrically ordered, liquid‐crystal‐like light scatterers. By integrating analyses of pteridine composition, potassium‐dependent assembly, hierarchical ultrastructure, and optical behavior, the ...

Cryo-electron tomography pipeline for plasma membranes
Cryo-electron tomography (cryoET) provides sub-nanometer protein structure within the dense cellular environment. Existing sample preparation methods are insufficient at accessing the plasma membrane and its associated proteins.

Immersion Freezing of Cell Monolayers for Cryo-Electron Tomography
INTRODUCTIONCryo-transmission electron microscopy (cryo-TEM) is not limited to the visualization of suspended macromolecules in their native hydrated state. It can also be used to elucidate the molecular architecture of peripheral parts of adherent cells:

Towards Temporal Resolution in Correlative Cryo-electron Tomography
Cryo-electron tomography (cryo-ET) has given unprecedented insights into the structure of macromolecules in their native cellular environment. This technique bridges the gap between high-resolution ex-situ single particle analysis and low-resolution, in ...

Density‐driven differential sedimentation fractionates solution‐assembled P3HT nanowires into crystalline and disordered constituents. High‐resolution cryo‐TEM directly visualizes the molecular chain packing within individual nanowires in real space, and recombining the fractions programs the mobility–stretchability trade‐off without chemical ...
