Kinetik und Mechanismus der selektiven Bindung von Ionen durch Cyclodepsipeptid-Antibiotika

open access: yesCHIMIA, 1972
Stability constants for cation complexes of valinomycin and enniatin B were determined in methanol employing spectrophotometric titrations. Kinetic studies by relaxation methods led to the elucidation of the reaction mechanism of complex formation ...

Protonation of enniatin B: Experimental and theoretical study

open access: yes
Abstract On the basis of extraction experiments, the exchange extraction constant corresponding to the equilibrium H3O+(aq) + 1.Na+(nb) 1.H3O+(nb) + Na+(aq) occurring in the two–phase water–nitrobenzene system (1 = enniatin B; aq = aqueous phase, nb = nitrobenzene phase) was evaluated as log Kex (H3O+, 1.Na+) = 0.9 ± 0.1.

An ABC-B Transporter Helps Protect Fusarium graminearum Against Enniatin Toxicity

open access: yesJournal of Fungi
Fusarium graminearum and F. avenaceum often co-contaminate Canadian durum wheat grain, resulting in the co-deposition of species-specific mycotoxins, including trichothecenes produced by F. graminearum and enniatins produced by F. avenaceum.

Aspergillus niger is a superior expression host for the production of bioactive fungal cyclodepsipeptides

open access: yesFungal Biology and Biotechnology, 2018
Background Fungal cyclodepsipeptides (CDPs) are non-ribosomally synthesized peptides produced by a variety of filamentous fungi and are of interest to the pharmaceutical industry due to their anticancer, antimicrobial and anthelmintic bioactivities ...

Unraveling the fate of mycotoxins during the production of legume protein and other derived products

open access: yesnpj Science of Food
Consumers are increasingly looking for healthier and sustainable diets. Plant-based diets rich in legumes satisfy this demand. Legumes contain protein, dietary fibers and starch.

Beauvericin and enniatin B mycotoxins alter aquatic ecosystems: Effects on green algae

open access: yesEnvironmental Toxicology and Pharmacology
Myxotoxins can contaminate algal-based products and arrive to the food chain to consumers producing chronic toxicity effects. Here, we studied phytotoxicity of mycotoxins, beauvericin (BEA) and ennaitin B (ENN B) in four phytoplankton strains: Acutodesmus sp., Chlamydomonas reinhardtii, Haematococcus pluvialis, and Monoraphidium griffithii, which are ...
