Panax notoginseng saponins (PNS) accelerate diabetic wound healing via targeting the Ephx2/11,12‐EET axis in macrophages. PNS inhibits Ephx2 expression to elevate 11,12‐EET levels, which restores mitochondrial homeostasis by regulating mitochondrial dynamic proteins, reduces mtROS production, and subsequently suppresses NLRP3 inflammasome‐mediated ...

Comparison of proteomes from three series of sequential Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolates from people with cystic fibrosis identified eleven proteins with increased abundance in at least one late isolate per patient. Three proteins were increased in all five late isolates, and the probability of this occurring by chance is 5.06 × 10−53, indicating strong

Cloning and characterization of an epoxide hydrolase-encoding gene from Rhodotorula glutinis
We cloned and characterized the epoxide hydrolase gene, EPH1, from Rhodotorula glutinis. The EPH1 open reading frame of 1230 bp was interrupted by nine introns and encoded a polypeptide of 409 amino acids with a calculated molecular mass of 46.3 kDa. The

Inhibition of soluble epoxide hydrolase prevents diabetic retinopathy [PDF]
A product of the soluble epoxide hydrolase enzyme, 19,20-dihydroxydocosapentaenoic acid (19,20-DHDP), is implicated in the pathogenesis of diabetic retinopathy; levels of 19,20-DHDP increase in the retinas of mice and humans with diabetes, and inhibition

Erythrocytes are reservoirs of important epoxide-containing lipid signaling molecules, including epoxyeicosatrienoic acids (EETs). EETs function as vasodilators and anti-inflammatory modulators in the bloodstream.

Flavonoid consumption may modulate phospholipase activity and COX‐, LOX‐, and CYP450‐dependent oxylipin biosynthesis, reshaping lipid mediator networks. Emerging evidence suggests these shifts may favor inflammatory resolution over propagation, with implications for metabolic, cardiovascular, and neuroinflammatory disease risk.

Epoxide hydrolases are a small superfamily of enzymes important for the detoxification of chemically reactive xenobiotic epoxides and for the processing of endogenous epoxides that act as signaling molecules.

Coumarin‐Benzimidazole Hybrids as Multitarget Scaffolds for Antileishmanial Drug Discovery
Coumarin‐benzimidazole hybrids emerge as promising antileishmanial agents through virtual screening against essential Leishmania enzymes, Cathepsin B (CatB), and N‐myristoyltransferase (NMT). Molecular docking and dynamics simulations reveal highly stable target interactions that surpass the reference drug miltefosine (MTF).

Arachidonic acid (AA) has three main metabolic pathways: the cycloxygenases (COXs) pathway, the lipoxygenases (LOXs) pathway, and the cytochrome P450s (CYPs) pathway. AA produces epoxyeicosatrienoic acids (EETs) through the CYPs pathway.
