Zinc transporter SLC39A14 sustains intracellular Zn2+ levels to activate SIRT3‑dependent ANXA2 deacetylation at K302. This modification weakens ANXA2‑mTOR binding and releases autophagic‑flux suppression in nucleus pulposus cells. Dysregulated Zn2+ homeostasis disrupts this axis to drive intervertebral disc degeneration.

High‐density type I collagen promotes glutamine (Gln) accumulation–related ferroptosis of TNBC cells via the spermidine/spermine N1‐acetyltransferase 1 (SAT1)‐ argininosuccinate synthase (ASS1) signaling pathway, thus depriving immune cells of Gln supply and inducing IFN‐γ+ CD8+ T cell exhaustion in the TME.

Nuclear receptors (NR) classically regulate gene expression by stimulating transcription upon binding to their cognate ligands. It is now well established that NR-mediated transcriptional activation requires the recruitment of coregulator complexes ...

This study reveals that 5'tiRNA‐Gln interacts with hnRNPC to promote IGF1R liquid‐liquid phase separation, which drives ERK1/2 signaling activation, EMT, and breast cancer bone metastasis. These findings highlight a novel mechanism of breast cancer bone metastasis and potential therapeutic target in metastatic breast cancer.

Estrogen receptor ligands counteract cognitive deficits caused by androgen deprivation in male rats
Androgen deprivation causes impairment of cognitive tasks in rodents and humans, and this deficit can be reverted by androgen replacement therapy. Part of the effects of androgens in the male may be mediated by their local metabolism to estradiol or 3 ...

Schematic diagram of the core pathways of the liver‐brain axis in regulating AD. The liver regulates cerebral Aβ deposition, tau phosphorylation, and neuroinflammation through pathways such as metabolic detoxification (urea cycle, ketone body metabolism, glutathione antioxidant system), molecular secretion (APOE, CRP, FGF21, IGF‐1), and Aβ clearance ...

Animal stroke models and outcome evaluation: A review
Rodents are the preeminent stroke model species. Large animal models exist too, but are poorly standardized. Ischemic and hemorrhagic experimental models are available, with the intraluminal filament model being predominant. Outcomes are evaluated via quantifying subjects' sensorimotor impairment, cognitive memory faculties, degree of cellular ...

Schematic representation of acellular matrix generation from human uterine fibroblast cells, coating on polycaprolactone electrospun nanofibers, and subsequent in vitro and in vivo characterization. A tissue‐engineered scaffold tailored for uterine myometrium‐specific regeneration is designed. The electrospinning technique was used to fabricate aligned

Abstract The human mandibular symphysis concentrates multiaxial loads during function and remodels throughout growth, but the precise mechanisms underlying cortical bone shape during growth remain relatively unexplored. Approaches based solely on thickness or external cortical contours provide only partial insights and do not capture the functional ...

Abstract Cortical bone expansion is an age‐related process where, through endosteal resorption and periosteal apposition, cross‐sectional diameter increases while cortical thickness decreases in long bone diaphyses. Local variation has been observed in this process between cross‐sectional locations, but few studies have examined directional variation ...
