In september 1996, tijdens een van mijn vele plantenstrooptochten door het FLORON-district Twente, kwam ik in een landbouwgebied bij Dedemsvaart terecht. Landbouwgebieden met veel sloten en leidingen hebben een grote aantrekkingskracht op mij, daar ze soms schatten aan informatie opleveren.
