Surface‐Mounted Metal‐Organic Framework for the Adsorption and Sensing of Monoaromatic Pollutants in Water Using Quartz Crystal Microbalance

A hydrophobic metal‐organic framework (UHMOF‐100) is grown on a quartz crystal microbalance sensor for the first time. The device enables real‐time, selective detection of monoaromatic BTEX pollutants in water, demonstrating a new strategy for creating robust chemical sensors for challenging environmental monitoring applications.
