Image restoration for fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy (FLIM)
Computational image restoration finds wide applicability for fluorescence intensity imaging. Relatively little work in this regard has been performed on FLIM images, which also suffer from diminished spatial resolution. In this work, we report two separate approaches to enhance FLIM image quality while maintaining lifetime accuracy.

Timing and Operating Mode Design for Time-Gated Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging Microscopy
Steady-state fluorence imaging and time-resolved fluorescence imaging are two important areas in fluorescence imaging research. Fluorescence lifetime imaging is an absolute measurement method which is independent of excitation laser intensity ...

Applications of fluorescence lifetime imaging in clinical medicine [PDF]
Fluorescence lifetime is not only associated with the molecular structure of fluorophores, but also strongly depends on the environment around them, which allows fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy (FLIM) to be used as a tool for precise measurement

Fluorescence lifetime imaging for material studies [PDF]
Fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy (FLIM) is investigated as a contrast mechanism for the characterization of heterogeneous luminescent materials. A Ce:YAG glass-ceramic sample is used as a model system under epi-fluorescence excitation with a 450 ...

Refractive index sensing using Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging (FLIM)
The average fluorescence lifetime of GFP in solution is a function of the refractive index of its environment. Here, we demonstrate that this also appears to be the case for GFP-tagged proteins in cells. Using TCSPC-based FLIM with a scanning confocal microscope, we image GFP-tagged proteins in fixed cells in different media.

Fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy and its applications in skin cancer diagnosis [PDF]
Fluorescence lifetime (FLT) of fluorophores is sensitive to the changes in their surrounding microenvironment, and hence it can quantitatively reveal the physiological characterization of the tissue under investigation.

Mutant p53R273H disrupts PDPK1 homodimerization and contributes to PDPK1 activation
How mutant p53R273H drives AKT signaling is unclear. We show that p53R273H, but not wild‐type, directly binds PDPK1 via a mutation‐dependent conformational change. This interaction disrupts inhibitory PDPK1 homodimerization and enhances AKT phosphorylation.
