Production and Characterization of Antibodies against Fumonisin B1
Polyclonal antibodies against fumonisin B1 (FmB1) were produced in rabbits after immunizing the animals with either FmBl-keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH) or FmB1 bovine serum albumin (BSA). A direct competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (dc-ELISA) and an indirect competitive ELISA (idc-ELISA) were used for the characterization of the antibodies ...

ABSTRACT In the context of the circular economy and the increasing demand for safe and sustainable packaging, this work addresses the safety assessment of food contact materials (FCMs) derived from agro‐industrial by‐products. Despite growing interest in these bio‐based materials, the literature still lacks a structured safety‐assessment framework able

Abstract The food enzyme arabinan endo‐1,5‐α‐l‐arabinanase (5‐α‐l‐arabinan 5‐α‐l‐arabinanohydrolase; EC 3.2.1.99) is produced with the non‐genetically modified Aspergillus tubingensis strain GPA41 by Shin Nihon Chemical Co., Ltd. The food enzyme was considered free from viable cells of the production organism.

Development of immunosensors for mycotoxins analysis [PDF]
Aflatoxin B₁ (AFB₁) and fumonisins (Fms) are mycotoxin contaminants found in peanuts and corn, respectively, and are known to be immunosuppressive and carcinogenic compounds.

Acute hepatic effects of low-dose fumonisin b1 In rats [PDF]
Adult male Wistar rats were enrolled in a study to test the acute hepatic effects of 50 mg/kg fumonisin B1 in feed for 5 days. Fumonisin B1 depressed growth and feed intake, and absolute and relative liver weight showed a significant increase.

Fumonizin B1: neurotoksični mikotoksin
Fumonisin B1 (FB1) is a mycotoxin produced by Fusarium spp. moulds that contaminate crop, predominantly maize, all around the world. More than 15 types of fumonisins have been indentified so far, but FB1 is the most abundant and toxicologically the most significant one. FB1 has a wide range of toxic effects, depending on animal species.
