Mapping of the nu gene using congenic nude strains and in situ hybridization [PDF]
The chromosomal location of the nu gene, which is responsible for hairlessness and athymus, was determined using six DNA markers (interleukin 3 [Il-3], Myhs, Acrb, Evi-2, Mpo, and Hox-2) on mouse chromosome 11. We constructed the high-resolution physical mapping of the six DNA markers on chromosome 11 by in situ hybridization using fluorescence-labeled

Dietary acrylamide, a thermally induced food contaminant, at a level (2 mg/kg diet) typifying higher occurrence in certain food products - is neither an independent carcinogen nor a tumor promoter in the colon. This is evidenced by our previous studies using the medium-term azoxymethane (AOM)-induced colon tumorigenesis assay in F344 rats and the human

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Hydrogel Microtube Drug Carrier for Catheter‐Based Intravascular Therapy
This paper proposes hydrogel microtube carriers composed of barium alginate gel, enabling long‐term vascular retention without interrupting blood flow. Intravascular treatments have long been attracting attention for therapeutic efficacy, yet practical delivery methods remained unestablished.

This study presents a surfaceome‐reprogramming strategy for mutation‐independent lung cancer therapy by repurposing dexamethasone to prime mesenchymal stem cell‐derived nanovesicles. The engineered vesicles leverage multi‐valent interactions mediated by upregulated adhesion proteins, EPHA2, and NOTCH3.

This study unveils a pathogenic axis in oral cancer where NUDT21 suppresses a tumor suppressor network, prominently PTEN, via 3'UTR lengthening. To exploit this transcriptomic vulnerability, we developed a biomimetic Nano‐APA‐editor. By delivering CRISPR/Cas9, we reprogrammed the global 3'UTR landscape, restoring multi‐target tumor suppression and ...

CALB2 is a Mechanoresistance Gene in Metastatic Prostate Cancer
Prostate cancer cell lines of differing origins were cultured over many passages while being subjected to semi‐lethal levels of fluid shear stress, representing the harsh mechanical environment these cells are subjected to in the circulation during the process of distant metastasis.

Cell‐Selective Delivery of RIBOTACs via an Anti‐EGFR Nanobody for Pancreatic Cancer Treatment
This study introduces an innovative strategy for the tumor‐selective catalytic degradation of oncogenic non‐coding RNA by interfacing a ribonuclease‐recruiting small molecule (RIBOTAC) with an EGFR‐targeting nanobody via a CTSB (Cathepsin B)‐responsive linker.

This study unveiled that METTL14 mediates m6A modification of WDR72 mRNA to stabilize and enhance WDR72 expression, which disrupts TRIM31‐mediated ubiquitination of CBX8 protein and retards its degradation, finally the elevated CBX8 contributes to tumor stemness.
