Dysregulated Lipid Metabolism and Its Role in α-Synucleinopathy in Parkinson’s Disease
Parkinson’s disease (PD) is the second most common neurodegenerative disease, the main pathological hallmark of which is the accumulation of α-synuclein (α-syn) and the formation of filamentous aggregates called Lewy bodies in the brainstem, limbic ...

Fetal growth restriction is associated with placental metabolic adaptations. In small‐for‐gestational‐age placenta (SGA), cholesterol receptors and steroidogenic enzymes are upregulated, enhancing steroidogenesis. NAD salvage pathway is also increased to support NADP+/NADPH requirements.

Key metabolites secreted by Chlorella vulgaris alleviate salt stress in soybean seedlings
Chlorella vulgaris secretes exosome‐derived linolenic acid and inosine, which alleviate salt stress and enhance salt tolerance in soybean seedlings by activating stress‐responsive signaling networks. ABSTRACT Soil salinization is a major abiotic stress factor that reduces soybean production.

Differential composition of DHA and very-long-chain PUFAs in rod and cone photoreceptors
Long-chain PUFAs (LC-PUFAs; C20–C22; e.g., DHA and arachidonic acid) are highly enriched in vertebrate retina, where they are elongated to very-long-chain PUFAs (VLC-PUFAs; C ≥28) by the elongation of very-long-chain fatty acids-4 (ELOVL4) enzyme.

ABSTRACT Hydrogen gas (H2) effectively alleviates abiotic stress in horticultural plants. Protein S‐nitrosylation, a key post‐translational modification, serves as a critical mechanism for nitric oxide (NO) to exert its biological function under adverse conditions.

ABSTRACT Salinity is a major threat to global agricultural productivity of staple crops such as wheat. Although microbial‐based solutions hold promise for alleviating salinity stress, practical implementation is hindered by insufficient mechanistic characterization of bioinoculants and their interactions with plants.

Dry Deposition Strategies for MALDI–MS Imaging: Principles, Advances and Emerging Applications
ABSTRACT Matrix‐assisted laser desorption/ionisation mass spectrometry imaging (MALDI–MSI) has become a pivotal tool in biomedical research, enabling untargeted, spatially resolved analysis of molecular species in complex biological tissues. Among the critical steps in MALDI–MSI workflows, matrix deposition significantly influences sensitivity, spatial

ABSTRACT Direct mass spectrometry (MS) analysis of human tissues at the molecular level has great potential for clinical diagnosis and biomarker discovery. However, conventional MS‐based analytical methods often require complicated and time‐consuming sample preparation, which limits their applicability in rapid clinical analysis.

LMP is responsible for lysosomal dysfunction in IDD. The lipid composition changes in the lysosomal membrane, mediated by PLA2G15, are the cause of LMP. The C/EBPα significantly promotes PLA2G15 expression under PA overload stress. Inhibition of PLA2G15 alleviates PA‐induced LMP by inhibiting the hydrolysis of lysosomal membrane phospholipids. ABSTRACT
