BackgroundPeptides were designed to induce immune tolerance to the major antigen associated with house dust mite (HDM) allergy, Der p 1. HDM is commonly associated with allergic responses in allergic rhinitis and asthma, with Der p 1 specific T-cells ...

This study investigates how ischemia‐free liver transplantation (IFLT) shapes both local and systemic immune responses compared with conventional liver transplantation (CLT). Our findings demonstrate that IFLT confers significant immunological protection by attenuating the STAT3‐HIF‐1α axis and enhancing the Heme‐HMOX1 pathway, two regulatory networks ...

A systematic review of T cell epitopes defined from the proteome of human immunodeficiency virus
Background: Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) persists as a formidable and far - reaching threat without a cure. T cells are crucial for antiviral immunity and pathology in HIV patients, with specific T cell epitopes potentially key to effective ...

PD‐1 Inhibits CD4+ TRM‐Mediated cDC1 Mobilization via Suppressing JAML in Human NSCLC
CD4+ tissue‐resident memory T cells (TRMs) in non‐small cell lung cancer recruit conventional type 1 dendritic cells via XCL1‐XCR1 signaling, orchestrating antitumor immunity. The costimulatory molecule JAML is essential for this process. PD‐1 blockade restores JAML expression and cDC1 mobilization, while JAML agonists synergize with anti‐PD‐1 therapy,

Mice with a diverse human T cell receptor repertoire selected on multiple HLA class I molecules
T cell receptor (TCR) gene therapy is an effective cancer treatment. Ideally, the TCR should be of human origin and have optimal avidity, e.g., isolated from a tumor antigen-non-tolerant host.

HLA-D and IA antigens in rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus [PDF]
The HLA-D region in the HLA chromosomal complex is concerned with cellular interactions and regulation of the immune response. Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) has been found to be associated with one of the HLA-D antigens. In two separate studies from this laboratory it was found that HLA-Dw4 was more frequent in RA patients than in normal controls.

IL‐15‐engineered stem cell–NK cell complexes, assembled via bioorthogonal chemistry, enable effective lung cancer immunotherapy. Abstract Natural killer (NK) cells represent a powerful immunotherapeutic strategy due to their intrinsic cytotoxicity and ability to target tumor cells independently of antigen presentation.

CDK4/6 inhibition promotes CD8+ T cell expansion through tumor‐macrophage crosstalk by activating HIF‐1α and enhancing MIF‐CD44/CD74 signaling. This reprograms TAMs to boost MHC‐I antigen presentation, and CDK4/6 inhibitor‐trained M1 TAM supernatant therapy synergizes with low‐dose PD‐1 blockade to restore antitumor immunity.

Aberrant SUMOylation Restricts the Targetable Cancer Immunopeptidome
Pharmacological SUMOylation inhibition (SUMOi) counteracts tumor immune evasion by unmasking an immunogenic HLA‐I peptide and neoepitope repertoire. By restoring HLA‐I ligand availability through increased antigen processing and presentation, enhanced proteasomal cleavage, and modulated TAP1 peptide affinity, SUMOi boosts tumor immunogenicity ...
