Material‐Induced Nuclear Deformation Controls Chromatin Architecture in Adipose Stem Cells
Tuning cell and cytoskeleton mechanics modulated nuclear shape and heterochromatin organization in ASCs. Distinct cytoskeletal architectures induced nuclear morphologies from oblate to prolate ellipsoids. Large elongated cells with a structured actin cap exhibited high nuclear strain, driving nuclear envelope deformation and heterochromatin ...

Dysregulation of H/ACA ribonucleoprotein components in chronic lymphocytic leukemia [PDF]
Telomeres are protective repeats of TTAGGG sequences located at the end of human chromosomes. They are essential to maintain chromosomal integrity and genome stability.

hTERT gene copy number is not associated with hTERT RNA expression or telomerase activity in colorectal cancer [PDF]
AbstractIn a majority of malignant human tumors telomerase activity can be detected, suggesting an immortal phenotype. Expression of the reverse transcriptase subunit, hTERT, in the human telomerase complex is required for telomerase activity. The regulation of hTERT, from gene level to a fully functional protein, is still a poorly understood process ...

A Functionally Conserved Enhancer is Critical for PGC1A Expression and Thermogenesis in Brown Fat
An evolutionarily conserved enhancer controls PGC1A expression and thermogenic activation in brown adipose tissue. Integrative multi‐omics analyses identify two BAT‐specific enhancers, with PGC1A‐En1 functioning as the dominant regulatory element that maintains thermogenic capacity across species.

Depletion of p75NTR in Schwann Cells Driven by Inflammation Mediates Cutaneous Pain in Psoriasis
Psoriasis‐like inflammation induces proliferation and molecular remodeling of cutaneous Schwann cells, marked by reduced p75NTR and increased NGF expression. IL‐17A promotes this process, whereas Schwann cell‐specific p75NTR overexpression alleviates cutaneous pain in vivo.

hTERT mediates gastric cancer metastasis partially through the indirect targeting of ITGB1 by microRNA-29a. [PDF]
Human telomerase reverse transcriptase (hTERT) plays a key role in tumor invasion and metastasis, but the mechanism of its involvement in these processes is not clear.

ABSTRACT Tumor immune escape is a major barrier to durable cancer immunotherapy, as advanced malignancies create a tumor microenvironment (TME) that preferentially exhausts and disables T cell responses. While most approved cell therapies are T cell‐based, this limitation motivates the exploration of an alternative effector cell platform.

PAX5 activates the transcription of the human telomerase reverse transcriptase gene in B cells. [PDF]
Telomerase is an RNA-dependent DNA polymerase that synthesizes telomeric DNA. Its activity is not detectable in most somatic cells but it is reactivated during tumorigenesis.
