Effects of IGFBP4 deficiency on human preadipocyte proliferation and differentiation through the IGF1R/AKT pathway

IGFBP4 knockdown (KD) impairs preadipocyte proliferation and is associated with IGF1R protein downregulation and attenuated AKT phosphorylation. In collegiate endurance athletes, a 6‐week randomized CPYE intervention yielded time‐ and sex‐dependent shifts in field‐based cardiorespiratory, metabolic, and redox indices, accompanied by changes in gut multi‐omics profiles. An exploratory extension during intensified training generates hypotheses warranting future validation.
