Immunomodulatory Effects of Wheat Peptides and a Novel Octapeptide (GFNDLGKR) in Immunosuppressed Zebrafish and Mouse Models

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 14, Issue 6, June 2026.
Wheat peptides (WP) exerted immunomodulatory effects in both zebrafish and mouse immunosuppressed models, restoring immune cells, cytokines, organ indices, and SCFAs. A novel octapeptide, GFNDLGKR (GR8), was identified via LC–MS/MS and molecular docking targeting CHRM1.

Facilitators and Barriers to Implementing Peer‐Led Neurocognitive Screening for Older Adults Living With HIV at a Community Hospital in Thailand: A Multiple‐Methods Study

open access: yesJournal of the International AIDS Society, Volume 29, Issue 6, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Introduction Neurocognitive impairment (NCI) is increasingly prevalent among older adults living with HIV (OALHIV). HIV clinics in low‐ and middle‐income countries often do not routinely screen for NCI. Task‐shifting screening to peer educators might be an alternative approach.

High Versus Low Radiographic Burden Odontogenic Sinusitis: Culture, Histopathology, and Patient‐Reported Outcomes

open access: yesLaryngoscope Investigative Otolaryngology, Volume 11, Issue 3, June 2026.
This study investigated clinical, histopathologic, and symptomatic differences between odontogenic sinusitis patients with high versus low radiographic burden. High radiographic burden disease was associated with older age and increased tissue inflammation, while significant postoperative symptom improvement was only observed in the high‐burden cohort.
