1-Tetradecylindoline-2,3-dione
In the title N-alkyl isatin, C22H33NO2, the isatin moiety is planar (r.m.s. deviation = 0.03 Å). The tetradecyl substituent has all torsion angles in an antiperiplanar conformation.

Functionalized Polyolefin With Photoresponsive Surface
The introduction of stimulus‐responsive groups can give polymers some material properties that cannot be realized simply by design and synthesis. Polyolefins, due to their nonpolar nature, suffer from poor compatibility with polar materials; however, directly grafting polar groups like hydroxyls onto their surface via traditional synthesis risks ...

Azide–Alkyne Cycloaddition En Route to 1H-1,2,3-Triazole-Tethered Isatin–Ferrocene, Ferrocenylmethoxy–Isatin, and Isatin–Ferrocenylchalcone Conjugates: Synthesis and Antiproliferative Evaluation [PDF]
Diverse series of isatin-ferrocene conjugates were synthesized via Cu-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition reaction with an aim of probing their antiproliferative structure-activity relationship against MCF-7 (estrogen receptor positive) and MDA-MB-231 (triple negative) cell lines.

Decoding Urease Inhibition: A Comprehensive Review of Inhibitor Scaffolds
Representative functional groups known for urease inhibition are reviewed within diverse scaffolds using structure–activity analyses to identify features associated with high inhibitory activity. Urease is a metalloenzyme produced by a wide range of organisms and plays a critical role in nitrogen microbial metabolism by catalyzing the hydrolysis of ...

Effective Low‐Temperature Oxidative Denitrogenation With Sulfated Titania Supported on Porous Carbon
We report the first synthesis of the novel S‐TiO2/C catalyst on highly porous pANI‐derived carbon. It achieved outstanding oxidative denitrogenation (ODN) performance, completing conversion of 1000 ppm indole in 60 min at 45°C. This is due to well‐dispersed S‐TiO2 facilitating H2O2 activation and •OH radical generation, and it proved highly reusable ...
