Ruthenium(II)‐Arene Complexes Containing Aryl‐Isatin Schiff Bases and Their Effects on Colon Cancer Cell Lines

open access: yesApplied Organometallic Chemistry, Volume 39, Issue 8, August 2025.
Aryl‐isatin Schiff base ruthenium (II)‐arene Ru1 complex has (IC50 value of 5.36 ± 1.09) a strong ability to inhibit the growth of SW620 cell line. The intrinsic binding constant Kb of the complex Ru1 was 5.14 × 106 M−1. In absorption spectral study, hyperchromism and hypsochromism were clear indicators that suggested the intercalative type of mode of ...

Highly Enantioselective Organocatalysis with Bidentate Halogen Bond Donors

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, Volume 64, Issue 30, July 21, 2025.
In a model Mukaiyama aldol reaction with unbiased substrates, high enantioselectivity was achieved with a modifiable bidentate iodine(I)‐based halogen bonding organocatalyst. The crucial role of halogen bonding was confirmed by the low performance of the corresponding hydrogen bond donor and via DFT calculations.

Condensation of Indole with Isatin over AlCl3/Mesoporous Aluminosilicate

open access: yesIndonesian Journal of Chemistry, 2015
Aluminium chloride immobilized on mesoporous aluminosilicate was investigated as catalysts in the condensation of isatin with indole. AlCl3/mesoporous aluminosilicate (AlCl3/AM) catalysts were prepared by impregnation of 1, 5, 10 and 15 wt% AlCl3 on the ...

Detection of Cisplatin with Boron‐Doped Diamond Thin‐Film Electrodes Using Flow Injection Analysis and Ion Exclusion Chromatography with Amperometric Detection

open access: yesElectroanalysis, Volume 37, Issue 7, July 2025.
The electrooxidation of cisplatin was investigated at boron‐doped diamond (BDD) electrodes and the detection figures of merit were assessed by amperometric detection coupled to flow injection analysis (FIA) and ion exclusion chromatoraphy (IEC). In this work, we investigated the electrochemical behavior of cisplatin at boron‐doped diamond (BDD) thin ...
