Consistency in Generalized Isotonic Regression
Suppose $T$ is a partially ordered set and that associated with each $t$ in $T$ we have a distribution with "location parameter" $m(t)$. In this paper we discuss consistency properties of estimates of $m(\cdot)$ which are isotonic with respect to a partial order. The results extend results in the literature, some of which are contained in Brunk (1970) (

Abstract BACKGROUND Plant‐based proteins, such as hazelnut protein isolates (HPIs), often exhibit limited solubility and functionality, as well as allergenic potential, thereby limiting their applicability in food products. This investigation sought to improve the techno‐functional characteristics of HPI and mitigate its allergenicity via high‐pressure

On Order Restricted Inference in Multi‐Step Stage Life Testing for a General Family of Distributions
ABSTRACT Recently, k$$ k $$‐step stage life testing (SLT) has been proposed by Laumen and Cramer (2021) as a natural extension of progressive censoring with fixed censoring times (PC‐FCT) as well as of simple step‐stress accelerated life testing (SSALT).

Guidelines for Essential Trauma Care: Second Edition (2026)
Injury is a major cause of death and disability globally, with the highest burden in low‐ and middle‐income countries (LMICs). Strengthening the organization and planning for trauma care (care of the injured) can improve care and lower mortality. In 2004, the International Association for Trauma Surgery and Intensive Care (IATSIC) and the World Health ...

Isotonic Distributional Regression
Distributional regression estimates the probability distribution of a response variable conditional on covariates. The estimated conditional distribution comprehensively summarizes the available information on the response variable, and allows to derive all statistical quantities of interest, such as the conditional mean, threshold exceedance ...

Abstract Purpose To investigate changes in choroidal and retinal thickness before and during myopia control treatment with orthokeratology lenses (OKL) in myopic children. Methods This was a sub‐study of CONTROL and CONTROL2 studies. The present study was a 2‐year, prospective, single‐group interventional study consisting of a 6‐month pre‐treatment ...
