INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF AGRICULTURAL ENGINEERING, 2017 India has annual production of jackfruit amounting to 1.436 million tons with a production area covering 0.102000 million hectors. Upto 500 seeds can be found in a single fruit. Seeds make-up around 10 to 15% of the total fruit weight and have high carbohydrate and protein contents.
