Effects of Isotope Substitution on Local Heating and Inelastic current in Hydrogen Molecular Junctions

open access: yes, 2008
Using first principle approaches, we investigate the effects of isotope substitution on the inelastic features in the hydrogen molecular junction. We observe thatlocal heating and inelastic current have significant isotope-substitution effects.

Phase Transition in Compact QED(3) and the Josephson Junction [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
We study the finite temperature phase transition in 2+1 dimensional compact QED and its dual theory: Josephson junction. Duality of these theories at zero temperature was established long time ago by Hosotani.

YAP1::TFE3 mediates endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal plasticity in epithelioid hemangioendothelioma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The YAP1::TFE3 fusion protein drives endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EndMT) plasticity, resulting in the loss of endothelial characteristics and gain of mesenchymal‐like properties, including resistance to anoikis, increased migratory capacity, and loss of contact growth inhibition in endothelial cells.

Thermoelectric properties of junctions between metal and strongly correlated semiconductor

open access: yes, 2000
We propose a junction of metal and rare-earth compound semiconductor as the basis for a possible efficient low-temperature thermoelectric device. If an overlayer of rare earth atoms differing from the bulk is placed at the interface, very high values of ...

Line junction in a quantum Hall system with two filling fractions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
We present a microscopic model for a line junction formed by counter or co-propagating single mode quantum Hall edges corresponding to different filling factors.

Inhibition of CDK9 enhances AML cell death induced by combined venetoclax and azacitidine

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The CDK9 inhibitor AZD4573 downregulates c‐MYC and MCL‐1 to induce death of cytarabine (AraC)‐resistant AML cells. This enhances VEN + AZA‐induced cell death significantly more than any combination of two of the three drugs in AraC‐resistant AML cells.

Визначення температури напівпровідникової структури тиристора при циклічному навантаженні

open access: yesElektrotehnìka ta Elektroenergetika, 2012
Ця стаття присвячена методиці визначення максимального і мінімального значення температури напівпровідникової структури тиристорів випрямлячів, що працюють в режимі циклічно змінного навантаження.

A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.

Time-Dependent Optothermal Performance Analysis of a Flexible RGB-W LED Light Engine

open access: yesMicromachines
The wide application of light emitting diodes (LEDs) in lighting systems has necessitated the inclusion of spectral tunability by using multi-color LED chips.
